Summary
This paper gives a detailed mathematical description of LIBEMOD, which as an economic computable equilibrium model for the Western European natural gas and electricity markets. The model assumes that all markets are competitive both in the short run and in the long run. The paper also contains detailed information on the data sources used in order to calibrate the model.
