Project description

The project studies the development of identity and status norms, and the importance of such norms for sustainable development. Norms vary over time and between groups. Why is environment-friendly behavior socially rewarded in some groups, but not in others? A better understanding of these issues may be important to develop policies for a sustainable consumption path.
