Project description

This project is concerned with the behavior of consumers and producers who are willing to pay more to protect the environment than required by public regulation. We will attempt to explain such behavior, study its environmental consequences in market equilibrium, and discuss its policy implications. This is a joint project with Kjell Arne Brekke, University of Oslo, and Richard B. Howarth, Darthmouth College.
