Project description
The project studies the impact of economic incentives and pension rules on retirement behaviour, with special emphasis on early retirement, the gradual reduction in work activity towards full pension, and the joint decision of married couples. The empirical basis in the current database for the labour market, expanded with better data on benefits and if possible on company-based and individual pensions. The long-term adjustment will be studied in international, comparative studies.Publications
