Project description
Snorre Kverndokk is "Lead Author" ofIPCC's third assesment report that will be published in 2001. The work started in 1998 and will countinue to 2001. He is one of the authors in Working Group III (Mitigation of Climate Change) on chapter 8 that has the title "Global, regional and national costs and ancillary benefits of mitigation". Kverndokk has the responsebility to write about costs and secondary benefits from reduction of greenhouse gas contamination in the Nordic countries, Great Britain and Ireland, but he also participates in more general parts of the chapter. A draft will be written in 1999, while in 2000 the work will consist on rewriting the draft based on expert comments from researchers, public management and industry.Publications
