Project description
Climate change may have powerful impacts on the energy markets through changes in temperature (demand responses and reduced efficiency for thermal power plants) and precipitation (changed supply of hydro power). Using a numerical model, we study the impact of climate and energy policy on the energy markets, taking climate changes into account. We focus on the triple 20 percent EU targets; lower greenhouse gas emissions, more renewables and increased energy efficiency.
