The three Russian regions (RU1/RU2/RU3) have been treated in exactly the same way as the other model countries in LIBEMOD. Various additional Russian sources have been used to get a complete dataset for each region. A lot of official Russian statistics is available on a federal district level, which has made it possible to create data sets for RU1, RU2 and RU3. However, in some instances the search for data on a regional level has not been successful and own assumptions have been made. For a full overview of these assumptions and the sources used the Russia documentation can be downloaded from the menu on the right.
Where the same data sources have been used for RU1, RU2 and RU3 as for the other model countries this is generally not described in detail and the reader is referred to the general documentation of LIBEMOD. This does for instance apply to the cost data used for new power plants.
